MiLan Art Ltd. is pleased to announce that MMHAP Metis Artist Mark MiLan is among the 2009 Aboriginal Arts Development Award (AADA) grant recipients, which is administered by the First Peoples’ Heritage, Language and Culture Council (First Peoples Council). The First Peoples Council has a partnership with the BC Arts Council, funded by the Canadian British Columbia Government.
Mark MiLan wishes to thank The First Peoples Council and the BC Arts Council for this support. Mark MiLan is especially grateful to the First Peoples Council committee of Established Aboriginal Artists that supports his efforts for creating uniquely Metis artworks/accessories, and exhibiting them throughout the Vancouver to Whistler corridor.
