Mark MiLan is pleased to announce a new MMHAP Artwork, the first of its kind in Canadian Metis Culture

MMHAP Artwork MMHAP METIS Smudge Alter Honors Metis Smudge Rituals. The BC Forces of Nature naturally carved mediums, Metis Truth Buffalo Handle Eagle Feather Smudge Fan, and the Traditional Metis Arrow Sash are the focus of this artwork. Canadian Metis Peoples have many beliefs; Mark MiLan designed this MMHAP METIS Smudge Alter for Metis Smudge rituals. The Eight Earth Cardinal Points are honored in this artwork by Eight Metis Arrow Sashes. One concrete tea-lit candleholder honors Fire, while another concrete holder honors Water. The Metis Arrow Sash on this artwork is in celebration of Mark MiLan’s ancestors, the Canadian Metis culture.
