MMHAP Artwork MMHAP METIS HONOR TABLE Honors Offerings. The BC Forces of Nature naturally carved mediums and the Traditional Metis Arrow Sash are the focus of this artwork. Canadian Metis Peoples have many beliefs; Mark MiLan designed this MMHAP METIS HONOR TABLE for rituals offering honors to special items such as the smaller MMHAP artwork titled ‘ELDER’. The Eight Earth Cardinal Points are honored in this artwork by four concrete tea-lit candleholders. Each concrete tea-lit candleholder honors as well the eight Earth cardinal points with eight braided Metis Sash ends. The Metis Arrow Sash on this artwork is in celebration of Mark MiLan’s ancestors, the Canadian Metis culture.
