MMHAP Artwork EAGLE Honors the Eagle. The BC Forces of Nature naturally carved mediums are the focus of this artwork. A unique Shannon Falls Forest Wood piece resembling an Eagle is poised on driftwood from the Stanley Park shores. The sides of the artwork are lined with thousands of small English Bay shells that resemble feathers. Water flows down in the artwork directly behind the Eagle evoking the sounds similar to Shannon Falls. The Eight Earth Cardinal Points are honored in EAGLE by eight concrete tea-lit candleholders. Each concrete tea-lit candleholder honors as well the eight Earth cardinal points reflected with eight braided Metis Sash ends. There are hundreds of braided Metis Sash ends on the back of EAGLE in celebration of Mark MiLan’s Canadian Metis culture and community.
