Mark MiLan is a Canadian Metis Montangnais Cree Artist living in Vancouver.

An interestingly shaped driftwood of about three inches long was picked-up along the shores of Stanley Park English Bay in Vancouver, Canada. That little piece of driftwood would reveal a unique face that would go on to becoming the theme face and inspiration of the first MMHAP piece named "BIRTH". The natural Earth Mediums began their journey to be honored a long time before Mark MiLan was even born, and The BC Forces of Nature naturally carved mediums such as the driftwood, rocks, and shells of MMHAP assuring the uniqueness of MMHAP.
